Animals, from charging bulls to pretty butterflies, are bursting onto the scene across apparel and accessories areas for women’s, men’s and youth sectors. We track this concept trend as it moves through S/S 2015, in airy sportswear and into A/W 15-16, with inspiration for knits and outerwear. Creatures add impact as a singular motif, or become part of a repeat pattern through the surface of fabrics. In accessories there is often a novelty aspect at play, while in jewellery handcrafted finishes are key.
