The dividing line between exclusive showcases for men and women is blurring. What was once the territory of one: catwalk seasons, fashion collections or tradeshows, has been invaded by the other. In Florence the Pitti show is predominantly menswear but womenswear is finding its voice among the big players, especially in the athleisure sector. This flux is reflected in the street scene where there is an even ratio of male and female influencers and fashion insiders from all over the world.
